Experience

At StorageMart, I lead our content marketing and copywriting program in support of more than 260 self-storage facilities in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This also includes 17 locations in Manhattan operating under the Manhattan Mini Storage brand. My role encompases everything from setting content strategy, collaborating with and training other writers, crafting product copy, PPC ad copy, long-form persona-driven articles, social media posts, Google My Business content, and more. All of this output is driven from the ground-up by my comprehensive content plan that aligns with business goals, leverages available marketing channels, and presents the target audience with clear, engaging content that drives consumer behavior.

At Linkmedia 360, I led a team of five other salaried content marketing professionals in addition to six contract-based writers. I was responsible for on-boarding all personnel (whether full time or contract-based) and ensuring consistent work quality as well as current best practices in SEO. I was also responsible for helping to document and train team members on content marketing processes that improved efficiency, standardized the quality of our output and built toward a more scalable content marketing product.

At Prophetic, a division within ST&P Marketing Communications, I worked together with my content team to build highly-targeted content marketing strategies for clients and for our agency. I did this by helping companies not only define their voices but also their ideal buyers. Then, I implemented multi-channel strategies for generating and engaging leads at every stage of the buyer’s journey – from awareness to evaluation to conversion.

At ST&P Marketing Communications, I collaborated with my creative department to develop effective marketing solutions for clients. Together, I created everything from traditional advertising campaigns and consumer promotions to sales force incentive programs and beyond. This required a mastery of many different writing styles across a wide range of media, including print, broadcast, outdoor, and online.
